There are a lot of reminder services on the Internet and available for
download that can run on your computer. However, Jott Networks (www.jott.com), a Seattle-based company that has just (December 2006) launched an interesting cell phone service that allow you to call a phone number, leave a message, and have that message transcribed and sent to your email and a to-do list.
download that can run on your computer. However, Jott Networks (www.jott.com), a Seattle-based company that has just (December 2006) launched an interesting cell phone service that allow you to call a phone number, leave a message, and have that message transcribed and sent to your email and a to-do list.
Development of Jott was started in April 2006 and it is a really smart way to ensure you never forget that task, a phone number, an anniversary, a request from a customer, etc. All you have to do is call up the Jott number and dictate it out or go to the Jott site and Jott it down. The Jott is sent via email and text message to either yourself or anybody else.

There are two ways to send jotts -
- By going to Jott.com, you can click on a Jott and select “Send To” option and type the email of the person you want to send the Jott to.
- Second, you can JottCast your friends or colleagues directly from your phone (add them to your contacts before doing this). Call 877-568-8486, select option ‘2′ and say the name of the person you want to JottCast. At the beep, you record your Jott, and it is automatically translated that to text and email and text messages are sent to the people you want to JottCast.
When you log into your Jott account you will have all your Jotts in front of you. You can delete, archive, mark Important or move to Group. You can also listen to the audio and set Reminders if you want. Jott is an interesting service and a lot of services would be based on Voice Recognition. There have been issues using Voice Recognition but the developers of Jott promise a trouble free Experience.
