Moreover, Revolution Health is hopping on the web 2.0 train with the release of social network services to the users such as users are allowed to ask health questions, and answer other users’ questions, share personal story, post a blog, create a personal profile that can link up to other users, and etc. Case, who has spent $100 million from his own pocket to build the site, is very optimistic about its launch but he says he doesn’t expect it to become popular overnight. “When I was at AOL and we launched instant messaging in the fall of 1985, it took awhile to take off and now people can’t live without it… The same can be applied to health care.
