TicketStumbler is a search engine for tickets and also helps you compare the prices of tickets available at different sources. The ‘cool’ factor of TicketStumbler is that it searches hundreds of brokers and ticket exchanges and presents the results in a readable format and easy comparison.

Some of the websites which TicketStumbler has partnered with are

They currently have 1.5 million listings representing 7 million total tickets. The results are pulled at a good speed and you have a slider interface for quantity and the price range of the tickets you are looking for. You can filter the results by the providers as well.

The secondary ticket market is a huge one and TicketStumbler might surprise a few people but they would have to be ahead of competition from the likes of Tickex.

Crusher - Send invites on the Internet for you events.

A new invitation service has been developed by an ultra-small independent group of designer/developers in the Bay area has been introduced. It is called Crusher. The developers are trying to do a simple application which would be easy to use for people.

Some of the features of crusher are

• • Request RSVP’s or simply invite people to your page. Your guests aren’t required to sign up (such a relief!).
  • You can personalize the look of your invites. You can clone it for future events and reuse it for recurring events.
  • Crusher also allows photo sharing and commenting. Guests can upload photos and any one can comment.
  • Since the calendars are shared if you can fix a time based on the availability of the attendees if most of the attendees are crusher users.
  • Free. No membership required for you or your guests.

As mentioned before crusher’s design is super-clean and simple but the site does the things you would expect from an invitation service: You can invite friends and track responses. It’s clean and light and very Web 2.0.

It’s also being built to give the music community the most flexibility. If a band creates an event in Crusher, a fan can “crush” (really, clone) the invitation and create a private version of it to wrangle his or her friends to go to the show. That’s a neat feature.

Your Truman Show does seem to be a mashup between blogging and YouTube feels a little bit like YouTube meets blogging even Yes, it is another video hosting platform ala YouTube but the layout is different. The focus is very much on blogging personal stories; with features include chronological submissions through to story books. In the long run I cannot really say how the service generate money but I’m sure it is going to attract users and specially if by posting to this service someone becomes a star. Personally I think changing the colors from the pink they have would do them a lot of good.
