Memo or voice based reminder notes - Braincast
Yesterday I found a cool service that lets users use the Internet in a very innovative 
way. The service is called Braincast. BrainCast is a free message and memo service that allows you to record reminders for yourself on the go, by calling a US toll free number that is assigned to your account and the messages appear in your email and in your account on Braincast. There is also an online organizational system for storing your messages so you can access them from anywhere. Before you start using the system you have to register the phone number you are going to call from to record the memos and an email address to which the email notification would be delivered once a memo is recorded.BrainCast is a free service to use and it is in beta. It is a useful service for reminders as you can schedule the notes to be delivered at a particular time to your phone from your account on Braincast and you can also add notes to your messages. BrainCast is intended to be used as a service to help store and organize audio notes from a web enabled PC. Anytime you think of something where you don’t have a simple method of writing something down or making a note of it, like at the store, or in the car, or out at night, is an optimal time to use the service. Just call, wait for the beep, record, and it will be home and on your computer when you get there.

International users do not despair. You can use Skype to record your memo’s. Skype is a freeware that can be used to make free PC to PC calls and ViOP based calls to normal telephones across the world at a very nominal price. Using Skype you can call toll free numbers in US for free. The catch is that you would have to pay Skype to assign your account a number which I think is a small price for the service. Get Skype now!
Braincast has been developed by ViaTalk which is privately owned, debt-free company headquartered in Upstate New York that offers VoIP telephone services in US.
