YourSharade allows you to create widgets that can be used on your personal web site or your blog to show your belongings and particularly the ones you want to sell, share or trade. YourSharade is already integrated with Facebook API. Right now the company intends to target students in schools, colleges and universities because sharing is a common practice at these places.
If you’re one of those who likes to share things then YourSharade is a great tool to keep track of things and to know who has borrowed what from you. YourSharade may soon have a compelling solution. Currently in private beta, the two-man startup from UC-Santa Cruz is developing a service that will “free all of your stuff,” says co-founder Ian Collins. YourSharade is currently in beta and you can request a login to register.
YouSharade seems like a good idea and it is a fun way to keep track of your belongings. The nice interface is another incentive for usage. However for majority of the users there needs to be other incentives for using YourSharade. The other potential application of the service would be for businesses to understand customer behavior by browsing their belongings.
